Good old style thermometer. Comes with lead free brass thermowell - 1/2†male NPT threads. Thermometer will pull out of thermowell and is retained well.

This is an excellent, easy to read thermometer when mounted on top of a 80 or 120 gal hot water tank. Unlike some temperature gauges - the design prevents water from leaking into the thermometer assembly itself, & ruining it.

It looks nice and works perfectly for what I use it for. It isn't extremely accurate probably off by 2-4 degrees at times. Fits my needs though and I recommend it
