I used this to block any openings in my garage and shed to keep out the mice. Very easy to use, and exactly as described. It was 5" width but I didn't bother to measure the overall length. I knew approximately what I needed, and I was left with a few feet left which would mean the length was very close, if not exactly, 36'.I simply unwrapped and stapled this up to cover any weak spots. It's soft enough, though, that you could easily mold into a shape you want and just stuff it into a crack or hole, if you're unable to staple or nail it into a surface like concrete.Plenty of other uses for this stuff, too, I will be saving the remaining and will likely use it to protect veggies in the garden next year.Overall, I am happy with it. I had a pretty bad mouse infestation but they wouldn't stick around for long, just in and out at night. I didn't want to hurt them if I could help it so this was my idea. I went as far to set up a camera, and cleaned up any evidence of mice, and I have not seen anything that would suggest mice have been inside since putting this up. I can't ask for much more than that.

It’s exactly what it looks like. A gauze roll made of stainless steel wire. Good for plugging up the occasion rodent hole as they can’t chew through it. Actually a fair bit more expensive than the copper kind, though. And I can’t really think of a reason that this mesh would be better than copper for plugging holes. Easy to use at the bottom of large pots to prevent large amounts of soil from wash out. Haven’t really found many other uses for it. Overall, it’s decent, but should be cheaper IMO. 4 stars.Note: as of this post, this is not welded wire mesh as seen in some other reviews. This seems to occur when the seller changes the item in the original listing. Probably to capitalize on existing reviews.

I needed this item to fill up a gap between the back and side of my cabinet where the mice were sneaking in. I've tried expanding foam in the past but the mice would chew through it. This has been getting the job done, the mice do not get in any more.

I have a couple problem squirrels living in my attic and at this time of year, dropping pine cones on my cars every morning and evening. Much worse this year due to a wet spring. My car is covered with dents looking like hail damage. And, I was disappointed to discover I could not have a BB gun shipped to my address (don't want to stress those tree rats!)The SS mesh looks like it will do well. It is in the form of a knitted tube laid flat that is 5" wide (3-1/8" diameter). Surprising how soft it is! It cuts easily with scissors. I'll commence putting it up along the eaves tomorrow. If I don't update this review, that means it is either working or I fell off the ladder.

I mold garden figures out of concrete. I use a very fine fast setting concrete mix. I usually use fiberglass mesh for reinforcing my figures. This wire fabric is a good alternative. It is strong, corrosion resistant and forms very easily into any shape required. It works much better than the fiberglass mesh for complex shapes. I am happy with this mesh and will use it on several molding projects.

Exactly as described, the product arrived very quickly, and was packaged exceedingly well. This will be used in the beds of my garden containers to keep critters out from going up into my garden beds. I love the sizing of the mesh to allow for root growth but also keep unwanted critters from burrowing through. Very easy to work with this mesh and I am thinking of buying another roll. Very pleased, thank you!

Easy to cut with utility shears, this wire mesh can easily be stuffed into surprisingly small spaces. If you can fit a putty knife into the gap, you can press fit the wire mesh in there.
