Excellent price for good quality cable. I used the bulk spool to make up a series of 50 foot lengths with Flemish eyes on both ends for skidding logs from our wood lot. I’ve used them for a few months, even leaving them strung in slack blocks outside for a week and no evidence of rust. Holding up well. No issues so far.

Great price and quality but spool nuts had come of when it arrived. Had to hit Ace Hardware for some nuts and washers and it was good as new. Poor packaging for such a heavy product, especially knowing how the boxes are handled during the shipping process.

Nice well made line. It is in fact 250 feet all one piece on a nice spool. Very easy to work with with no kinks or broken parts. I will buy it again when I put in the second zip line.

The cable sent to me was not the full 250' length as one consistent piece of cable. At about 180' the cable had previously been cut and taped together with electrical tape. When purchasing a length of cable it should not be cut in pieces to reach the specified length. I needed 250' of continuous cable to build our zipline; not two pieces that equal a total of 250'. Extremely frustrating. Aside from that the cable and spool appear to be well made and was shipped quickly and arrived without other damage. But I'm giving a 1 star review because purchasing cable is all about the length.

It's wire rope. It's galvanized. It's 1/4". Not much else to say. Came on a nice sturdy wooden spool, not some plastic junk.

Works just fine. I made 50' cables with thimbles and clevis hooks to pull logs.The quality control needs improvement, as there are frayed leads. The fray in the wire was at about the 50 foot mark, give or take. I simply adjusted the length I was to use as to not waste any cable.
