Easy setup - just insert batteries (not included). Seems to be accurate temp and humidity.I actually used it not for fridge and freezer, but for two outdoor locations (front and back of house). I had already purchased it's "big brother" which has a much bigger display and is great in the living room as you can clearly read it's display from across the room. But we wanted a smaller display for our bedside table so waking in the morning we know what to expect outside.Fortunately it works with the same sensor as the big display, so no need to hang another one.It has a nice colorful display that is not lit by default, so perfect for the bedroom. If you need the light, just tap its top.

I put a unit in my refrigerator and another in my freezer, both are in my garage. The receiving unit is about 50’ away through a block wall and a stud/drywall and it functions great! It was easy to setup and activate.

UPDATE:Seller contacted me, sent a free replacement. it seems to be working as advertised. I use it in my house, with sensors in my wood working shop and outdoor shed.Upgraded to 4 stars, will upgrade to 5 if they continue to work.Original review:2-starsBought this wireless freezer thermometer with alarm to keep an eye on my freezer, but turns out, the sensors don’t like being cold. You know, the ONE JOB they were designed for. Put them in the freezer—poof!—the master module suddenly forgets they exist. Guess they needed a cozy blanket and a cup of cocoa. Maybe it works great in a warm, tropical environment, but in a freezer? Not so much. If I wanted unreliable readings, I’d just ask my dog to bark when the ice cream melts. Total junk.

Thermometer works well. Can monitor my wine refrigerators from upstairs (about 40 feet away). Minimum and max temperatures a nice feature as is knowing the humidity.

**EDIT**After posting the review that appears below, the seller reached out to me an offered me a replacement or refund even though I was outside the return window. I really appreciate a seller that stands behind their product. I added a star to my review for this, but the unchanged text of my original review is below:I really wanted to like this. It seemed great and I ran it for a week before I turned the alarm on. During the week, I checked it frequently during the day and it appeared to be quite accurate. However, once I turned the alarm on, the problems started. Several times in the course of about a week, the alarm went off and the temperature on one of the sensors (the one in the freezer) showed well above freezing. The first time it went off was the middle of the day and the sensor had been moved, so I chalked it up to that (the freezer was working fine and the temperature had not changed). However, the second time, the alarm went off in the middle of the night. I woke up, trekked down to the garage and confirmed that the freezer was still working fine.I now see that others have complained of false alarms in their reviews, though I didn't see those when I purchased it. I wish I had seen them as it is now past the return window and I can't rely on this to not give me false alarms and wake me up in the middle of the night.

Purchased and received with a non functional second sensor. Elizabeth W in customer service quickly replaced my faulty sensor and walked me through syncing of the new sensor. 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ customer service and a great product. This equipment helps me sleep better at night, as a few strokes of bed luck led to us losing all of our food in the refrigerator's freezer and the basement freezer, in the same week. Thank you Hodik and Elizabeth.

Works well and it seems accurate. It was on sale so a good value. Very easy to read especially if it's plugged into a USB where you can adjust the brightness. Appears durable. I haven't used it long enough to know how long the battery lasts. I wish the sensors could be clipped on a freezer shelf but it works fine sitting on a shelf.

Now I can glance over and see what the temperature in both my refrigerator and freezer are. It’s very convenient to know that both the refrigerator and freezer are working properly. I like the ease of using this temperature gauge.

This wireless digital refrigerator thermometer includes three devices:2 different temperature and humidity transmitter units1 main indoor receiver unit that receives temperature and humidity information from the above two thermometer units. The main indoor unit is made of plastic with a fold out plastic stand. To power the main indoor receiver, it needs 3 AAA batteries (not included with this kit). The main indoor receiver has its own thermometer and hygrometer sensor onboard. It displays this information on the lower 1/3 of the display. The two separate units that transmit temperature and humidity information to the main indoor receiver are made of plastic (like the main receiver) and they transmit the temperature and humidity information every 30 seconds (which I deduced from the flashing LED on these units). Both units have a tag hanger, but that is not very useful in a freezer unit.To control which channel the information is broadcasted on, each transmitter unit has a dip switch that allows you to select 1 of 2 channels. Each unit's channel comes pre-set, so in general you don't have to change anything. The units take 2 AA batteries (not included with this kit). The receiver displays the information in a 3-colour LCD display. The LCD display is crisp. The large fonts make it easy to read the various information. The backlit display has three different colours that correspond to the three sensor readings. This tri-colour layout looks terrific and clearly defines each sensor. The blue backlit display represents sensor 1, the green is for sensor 2, and white represents the main indoor receiver.I found the two separate sensor transmitters were calibrated to match one another. When I had the two sensors side by side on my kitchen counter at room temp, both the sensors recorded the same temperature and humidity. But the calibration of the main indoor receiver was slightly off compared to the 2 transmitter units. I had the receiver unit right in front of the 2 transmitter units, and the receiver showed a temperature that was lower by 0.3 degree Celsius and a humidity reading that differed by 2% compared to the 2 transmitters. I guess this is fairly good based on its accuracy publication, but it still would have been nice if all the readings were the same.In my basement, I have an upright freezer whose door inadvertently has been left open in the past, leading to an event we refer to as The Great Thaw. I thought it would be prudent to monitor the temperature of the freezer to prevent such an event from occurring again. I put one thermometer transmitter unit in the basement freezer and I placed the receiver unit in the main floor kitchen. Without a problem, I was able to monitor the temperature of the freezer from my kitchen. The broadcasted temperature and humidity information was able to go through the freezer door, basement door, and up one flight of stairs. That's fairly good, considering I do have Wi-Fi signal problems from the same area. The indoor receiver unit has a temperature trend reading, high/low reading and a temperature alert. With this trend reading I can tell if the freezer is going through a defrost cycle. The high/low reading lets me know the max freeze limit of my freezer and helps me decide what temperature I should set it at (and hopefully save some money). The temperature alert lets me know if I accidentally left the freezer door open.Great device for monitoring your freezer unit.

This digital thermometer set comes with 2 remote sensors and one built into the display base. All three display the temperature and humidity. You can put them anywhere you want (indoor or outdoors), but I wanted them in my fridge and freezer. I have my fridge set to 37F and my freezer set to 0F. As you can see in the attached pic, the display shows them to be pretty close. And it may be that the fridge is off a bit. With all three sensors together side by side, you can see that the temperatures are all 71F with a slight discrepancy in the humidity percent. I can live with that. The remote sensors each require 2 AA batteries, and the base needs 3 AAAs, all not included. For the base, you can opt to plug it in a USB-C cable. With the cable plugged in, you can choose to have the display’s backlight stay “off”, or “on” at two different intensities. On batteries, you have to touch the top of the display to turn on the backlight and it goes off after 10 seconds. I’m using the cable for the display and rechargeable batteries in the remote sensors. I’ll have to see how long they last operating in the cold. You can program a min and max temperature for each remote sensor (not the base display), and have an alarm sound if the temperature goes outside the range. The temperature also flashes for the sensor that has triggered the alarm. Note that you cannot set a range alarm for the humidity. The display doesn’t show the battery level, but a battery icon does come on when it’s low. There’s also a kick stand that pops out so it can be stood upright. As far as transmission range goes, it’s very good. I moved sensor #2 into our freezer in the basement and the base display upstairs in the kitchen had no problem picking up the signal. Even when I took the display to the other end of the house, the signal was still fine. The not-so-good:Albeit minor, I’m puzzled as to why the display format isn’t the same for each of the three sensors. For sensors 1 & 2, the temperature is over the humidity, and for the base, it’s side by side. Maybe it takes some getting used to, but to me it would have made much more sense to display all three the same way with the readouts side by side.It would be better if the base had WIFI and the temperatures could be accessed remotely by an app on a smart phone. That way you could monitor the temperature and humidity, and receive alerts if away from home for an extended period of time.Summary:Aside from a couple of short comings, this is a good digital thermometer set. I’m happy that I can now see my fridge/freezer temperatures digitally. I find that the sensors are accurate and it’s great that you can set alarm thresholds. I’m glad I ordered it and I can recommend it.

Pros:- Nothing sucks more than losing a fridge and/or freezer full of food because the compressor stopped working and you didn't notice. This wireless thermometer system is a great solution to that problem because it comes with two wireless probes in addition to the main display unit that shows you the ambient air temperature.- You can configure loud alarms if the temperature goes below a certain range. It's pretty easy to customize this using the buttons on the display unit, although you can refer to the instructions if it seems confusing.- The main display unit has large, easy to read numbers and even a backlight you can turn on so you can see the screen in the dark.- I've had no issues with the performance of the wireless probes so far. They stay connected and keep reporting stably for months on a fresh set of AAA batteries, even the one in the freezer.Cons:- A total of 7 AAA batteries are required to use all the components, and are not included..Current title: Wireless Digital Refrigerator Thermometer, Freezer Fridge Thermometer Indoor Outdoor with 2 90DB Temp Alerts & 3 Adjustable Backlight & 330FT Remote Range for Kitchen Home Restaurant (CL)My rating system: 5 stars = performs as expected, 4 stars = small flaws, 3 stars = major flaws, 2 stars = barely usable, 1 star = trash

This is a reasonably decent temperature and humidity monitor (i.e. thermometer/hygrometer) with 2x remote sensor2 that seems reasonably well-built and works just fine for the most part although the display isn't as good (and easy to see) as I thought it would be based on the ads. It claims to support a total of 3x sensors but I'm uncertain how that'll work since the displays only has room for 2x remote sensors. The overall build quality is decent; typical plastic shell with a backlit LCD display which I do appreciate and while it's certainly better than a display doesn't have backlight, it's simply NOT as good as I thought it would be given the circumstance. Don't get me wrong, it's not difficult to see per se but like many other it has a pretty narrow viewing angle and anything outside of that is just not good. With that being said, it's certainly not the worst that I've seen in comparison to most other thermometers/hygrometers that I've come across and reviewed here. It's best viewed from the eye level or slightly above (i.e. looking down). The base station also has a sensor (as they often do) and it displays the current temperature and humidity level as well as the min/max, comfort level, and trend etc. It also has an alarm function that man others don't have; however, I have no intention to use the temp alarm feature and I dunno anyone that do either (but I digress). It has an update internal of 30 sec that's typical of most other as well. It doesn't come with any battery and the base requires 3x AAA while each of the remote sensors require 2x AA. Rechargeable batteries work just fine without issues. The base station can also be powered by USB-C which is perhaps one of its best features in my mind because the brightness (3 levels) of the backlit LCD display can be adjusted when it's powered by USB-C. The adjustment can be made via a touch control at the top of the display and it works just fine without issues.Btw, it has an auto timeout of 10sec for backlit when it's NOT being powered by USB-C and it always defaults to °F whenever the power is lost, and that's just annoying to say the least. Press and hold both MEM and CH buttons to switch between °C/°F.As you can see, accuracy isn't its strong suit although that's still within its margin for error according to the manual (±1°C for temperature and ±5% for humidity level), well, more or less. The temp differs by as much as 1.3°C initially although it does settle down on around 0.5-0.7°C. The humidity level differs by about 2-4% on average which isn't too bad and quite comparable to just about all others that I've come across and reviewed here (several dozens).≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a reasonably decent temperature and humidity monitor with 1x base station/unit along with 2x sensors. The base unit also has a sensor of its own so this can be used to monitor 3 locations simultaneous similar to most others with a base station. It's reasonably priced at $20 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features (typical), usability, and performance. Your mileage might vary.

This is a review of the HODIK Wireless Digital Refrigerator Thermometer (Freezer Fridge Thermometer Indoor Outdoor with 2 90DB Temp Alerts & 3 Adjustable Backlight & 330FT Remote Range)This is a nice looking thermometer that comes with two remote sensors, USB-A to USB-C cable, and a manual. The sensors take two AA batteries each and the display unit takes 3 AAA or can be run from a USB power supply (not included). When running from a power supply the backlight can be set to stay on (high or low), or stay off. When running from battery it comes on for a short time when the top is touched and is still quite readable with it off.All 3 units (display & 2 sensors) were calibrated very close to each other and are close to other units I have, so I feel that they are quite accurate. The display unit shows temperature (°F or °C) and humidity from itself and both sensors with trend arrows, it can track daily MAX/MIN, has 3 "comfort indicators", low battery warning (display & sensors), supports hi/low temperature alarms, and shows RF signal from the remotes. The display also has a built-in stand. The remote sensors have mounting hooks and can be set to different channels (along with a transmit button & LED).I currently have the display unit in my kitchen and the remote sensors inside of each freezer that I have in my basement (the display is on the opposite side of my house from the freezers). So far I have had no problem with them transmitting to the display unit in my kitchen and will be setting a high temperature alert so I know if the freezer door has been left open or the freezer has stopped working before it's too late. It's too soon to know the battery life of each unit, but if it's unreasonable I'll update this review. So far I'm recommending these as a 5 star purchase.
