This is an AWESOME addition to today's "electrostuff".1.'Put batteries in thee two sendors and reader.2. NO NEED to try to calibrate.3. Put the sensors in the freezer and refrig. and the reader on soewhere nearby.4 Walk away and let it do its thing.5 Four hours later take a reading. .NO NEED TO.OPEN FRIDGE OR FREEZER. THE READER WILL GIVE YOU CURRENT, LOW, AND HIGH TEMERATURES. Very cooool.

This freezer and refrigerator combo digital thermometer works well. It was easy to set up and it was easy to program alarms for the minimum and maximum temperatures. I have one in a garage refrigerator and one in our deep freezer. They offer peace of mind to know if one appliance starts to fail, we'll get the alert and hopefully be able to salvage the food, potentially saving hundreds of dollars in spoiled food. I kind of wish they didn't take disposable batteries but I'm not sure how well rechargeables would work in such a cold environment. We've used them for about a month and the batteries still show a full charge so I'm not really sure how much of an issue battery replacement will even be.

I am completely sold on this device. The company under sold and over delivered here. The two telemetry sensors (the bits that go in the freezer or refrigerator) are identical except for graphics. Think of them as “right and left†or “side a and b†when it comes to the graphic display module. You need a total of 6 aaa size lithium batteries to get everything to work. I am not interested in programming an alarm mode so I did not touch any buttons during the setup. Excellent visibility (even comes with a back light with its own button). Very accurate thermometers. To save on battery, the telemetry circuits only communicate with the mother ship (the display) every couple of minutes. This should increase battery life, which is constrained with low temperature operation.Instructions are very clear. I think the suction cups are for the telemetry units (to hang them from the silicone antenna loop). The last item is not explained in the instructions.Height of functionality. An excellent unit

This Geevon digital refrigerator thermometer provides basic temperature monitoring and an alarm function, but it has some limitations that hold it back. The LCD display shows the current temperature, as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded. The setup is relatively straightforward, and the thermometer seems to be reasonably accurate. The low battery warning icon is a helpful feature. However, I'm giving it three stars because the alarm function is not as robust or reliable as I'd hoped. The alarm sound is quite quiet, and it's easy to miss, especially if you're not in the immediate vicinity of the refrigerator. Also, the alarm only sounds for a short period, and it doesn't repeat continuously, making it even easier to overlook. The display, while functional, is quite small and basic. It's not backlit, making it difficult to read in low-light conditions. The buttons for setting the alarm and switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit are also small and a bit fiddly. Overall, it's a functional thermometer that provides basic temperature monitoring, but the weak alarm and basic display limit its effectiveness, especially for critical applications like monitoring a commercial freezer. If you need a reliable alarm to alert you to temperature fluctuations, you might want to consider a more advanced model.

How cold do you keep your freezer and refrigerator? Every commercial kitchen can answer that question and now so can we! This thermometer with wireless sensors is absolutely fantastic! I currently have 4 freezers and 2 refrigerators and have been using the single, analog, dial-type thermometers in all my cold storage...until now. This is my new favorite way to monitor temperature because, in addition to letting me see the temps when I think to look, it also alerts when temps goes out of range; (I tested it and it works). One of the freezers I have is in a detached garage and this alerts me if/when something ever goes wrong (the reader/alert is in the main house). Or maybe you find out your fridge is maintaining 33°F. You can save a little money by setting it to maintain 35-36°F.A couple of other notes:⦠This is especially handy when the power goes out. You can monitor the temps without ever opening the doors.⦠The sensors default use is: 1 for refrigerator and 1 for freezer. But you can custom-set the ranges so, for example, you can use both sensors for freezers.⦠The sensors claim to be accurate to within 1°F (at low temperatures). While they take about half an hour to fully acclimate, the ones I received actually measured accurate to within 0.3°F, (Bravo!)⦠Do yourself a favor and use/order lithium batteries; the cold has very little impact on them.
