This product worked very well and transmitted sound and video with perfect fidelity and synchronicity, comparable to an HDMI cable. It worked perfectly over a distance greater than what I expected - from one end of the house to another through a wall or two and also up one floor. The clarity of the picture was much greater on my TV than on my computer, with no glitches at all. Video transmits as soon as the devices were installed and paired using the pairing button (which is simple). However, unlike an HDMI cable that transmits both picture and sound just by plugging it in, when using this wireless transmitter on my new Windows 11 computer only picture was transmitted if I did not manually alter any settings, and there was no correct and useful advice on how to get sound in either the instructions or internet searches (supposed experts took over internet threads related to the issue, giving totally useless but "voluminous and sophisticated" advice, and then the threads were closed to further comments). However, fixing this is fairly easy once you figure out how. If you go to Settings and click on Devices, you will find the transmitter listed as a device, and if you click on the caret on the right-hand side of the box for the device, a menu will drop down allowing you to make the transmitter the default sound device. If you allow that, you will then get sound on your TV perfectly in sync with the video. Also, being wireless and working on a single frequency, it will not work with other wireless devices nearby sharing the same frequency. It would not work for me, nor would my often-used guitar wireless transmitter, work until I changed frequencies on the guitar wireless set-up.

I was looking for something that could transmit hdmi from a laptop to a tv in a large conference room, from 15 feet away. This works perfectly for that and doesn't force me to put a long cable in the middle of the room.There is no lag that I noticed, and it connects in a few seconds so it's very simple to set up.It also comes with a mini hdmi adapter so I can use it to project a retro handheld gaming system to my tv also.Very useful product, definitely a lot easier than managing long cable runs.

I bought this product in order to mirror games and movies from my laptop onto a projector to save myself the trouble of relocating my laptop from my desk each time I wanted to project its screen.The transmitter and receiver paired properly immediately and I was hopeful. Unfortunately, the pair would lose link and give a disconnect screen very frequently. I timed it, and roughly once every two minutes I lost link for three to five seconds. My computer desk is generously 20 feet away from the bookcase where my projector is positioned. This product is advertised as having a 98 foot transception range. Not only are there no walls between them, but I ensured that the transmitter and receiver had line of sight (no objects whatsoever inbetween) and that they were connected to external power using the provided USBC to USBA cables. Maybe they got the 98 foot range from testing this pair in a completely EMS clean environment? I suppose if you are intending to use this pair inside a faraday cage with no internet or wired internet only, and you take the SIM card out of your phone, this product *may* work for you.

Connected an old Sony TV with my Macbook and it worked perfectly. Setup was pretty straight forward, but one thing to keep in mind is that you have to plug in the USB side FIRST (the end that powers the RX and TX and THEN plug in the actual RX and TX into whatever HDMI input you have.There's no visible lag and having the 4K resolution option is very nice. It really does work just like a regular HDMI cable and overall, it delivers as expected.

Product works great setup. You have to SYNC it FIRST BEFORE plugged into HDMI source or it will not sync. Thus, 4 stars
