These were easy to install and look very nice. I have two tips.1. Be careful not to accidentally press a button during installation because they are extremely loud and if one is set off, they all go off lol.2. Before separating the plate from the detector, use a pencil to mark the center of the orientation of the detector on the edge of the plate. The screw holes aren't centered in relation to the detector itself.

Easy setup. I put double sided tape instead of screwing it in because it was easier for me. Lightweight enough to hold up. Easy to view the numbers on there and alarm is loud but not obnoxious

Replaced all my wired detectors. Ordered steel covers to go over the old wired box. Ordered magnetic pieces to attach to detectors. Easy on, easy to take down if necessary (shouldn’t be necessary since they have a ten year life).

I have been pleasantly surprised with this purchase. The unit has a nice display showing CO levels, and the built in 10year battery means no switching out dead or corroded batteries. I only bought 1 unit so cant speak to the interconnected functionality, but I have no doubt it will work great. Build quality seems good, and no plasticky smells which is great. Its a good looking unit, and happy to recommend. It is certified by CE, UL and RoHs so seems like it meets testing/safety requirements by certified bodies so I am not worried about reliability.
