This product was open and had grease on it like someone bought it and it didn’t fit so they put it back in the box and returned it without removing grease!

Even though WIX are very good filters,the first item listed under the heading of description is not correct. One of the main reasons I purchased two of these filters was in the description it states. Includes Gasket for mounting plate. Neither Wix-51125 filters had a gasket, filter only in each box.Shipping was very fast, and packing was well done, no damage to either filter. Don't know if the gaskets got lost or WIX no longer supplies them.

I have several tractors that require the cartridge type oil filter and in the past I have experienced problems when using the Napa brand filters. They never seem to include the gasket. After 3 Napa purchases in a row that did not have a gasket I decided to order Wix filters instead and when I did I started getting gaskets with the filter. This time I ordered a Wix filter thinking that I would not have a problem but I got the Napa Gold filter instead and guess what....It did not have a gasket. This makes 4 times in a row. I think that the old gasket will work so I am not asking for a return. I guess that I am going to have to stop ordering these things on line so that I can make my point face to face and get this problem stopped. The crazy part is that I think Wix makes the Napa gaskets.

The Wix cross reference stated this was a match to filter 376375R91 and would fit a Farmall M tractor. The item is not the same. On the original filter the neck on the one end is much smaller. This filter would not fit.

i purchased this filter WIX 51125 from a different source, and mine also did NOT come with a gasket, however unlike other reviewers, mine did fit correctly onto my mid year production 1950 farmall M tractor, it was snug in the casting and similar dimension to the case 376375R91 i took out. Perhaps not all farmalls are the same or perhaps if you order this filter you might not get the correct part number in the box?
