As an owner of an imported Hiace, finding properly fitting parts and OEM replacements can be very tricky, and shipping is often long & delyaed. For anyone else in a similar situation, this wix filter is a great replacement, fits well with no leaks, and doesn't cause the van to throw an error code. I've noticed much cleaner exhaust since making the swap. As usual though - be sure to compare this item to your specific model's specs before deciding to purchase and install, to make sure it is compatible!

Wix cross reference said 33138 was the replacement for an LG 40006997. This is not the case. The mounting hole was too small. Had to return.
