It is working for my Toyota. The stem or output tube that goes to the engine is not as long as OEM. This makes a difference if I ever need to replace the filter. The reason is because the locking cover on the filter is very hard to access. The shorter output tube will make it even more difficult to reach that cover. Some videos have shown accessing the entire filter from the top of the engine after removing the filter bracket. I found this to be impossible, or maybe it is just impossible for a 2001 Avalon XLS. Since my car is an old car, hopefully I never need to change the filter again.

I bought this because my engine was sputtering on my 2001 Lexus ES300. Changed the old filter for the WIX one and it fixed the problem. I've driven 1000 miles since then and no recurring issues. I'd recommend getting this filter if you have a sputtering engine.
