These cubes were very lovely and had the right color and surface to write on to make our own dice. Very smooth and a good size. Very good price for how many blocks we got. Good and high quality wood and cuts.

If you've been to a lumberyard or construction site in the USA in the past 10 years, you know that it's very difficult to find quality wood in this country (due to poor environmental practices, bureaucracy, and overpopulation). Judging by these wooden blocks, all the good lumber now goes to the craft industry. In all seriousness, these are much better than quality than you'd expect a kids' craft toy to be. Sturdy wood, well seasoned to prevent warping, they hold their shape. They also take a coat of paint quite well. More than a year has passed since the two I purchased were painted, and they still look like new.

I'm not an expert on anything wood product related so this review may not be of worth, but here goes:1. Sizes are not exact, definitely will require sanding after.2. Edges are more rounded than I would have liked3. No splinters so it it cut well as far as that goes4. Great for craft projects, hot glue doesn't really stick because sides are so smooth

Blocks were as described and easy to use, I did get the one in cm which was smaller than I thought I bought but it ended up working perfectly! Used for mine craft crafts and were easy to paint without having to go more than one coat, will be buying again!
