They all seem consistent and are well made. I didn’t realize these were end-grain plugs. They did not work for what I needed. Might be handy in the future though.

The plugs are solid maple (even though the backside looks like it's filled with something else), but because it is cut perpendicular to the grain, THE COLOR IS MUCH DARKER than hard maple boards (as seen in photos) or maple hardwood plywood.
