Simple product. Purchased with the intention of painting it and adding a peg board for storage. Love the end result and stores a ton of books for how compact it is.

I have so much product and not enough stirage-this is great, AND it's hidden behind my door. I haven't completed filled it up yet, and I can also use the knob hooks to hang items as well!

Quality has changed. I purchased one before & was happy with the product.I ordered another & found that they changed the quality & construction of the product.It now uses flimsy screws which make it difficult to assemble & line up. They also changed the way the top portion attached to the bottom half of the product. The bracket shows & looks tacky on each side of the product.Also the assembly instructions are poor & need to be improved.Components are not marked so you have to figure out which is which.I think they changed the design to manufacture quicker as it is always out of stock on Amazon.I would have returned but it would difficult to take apart & return for a refund.I would not buy. There are so many others available on Amazon.I need another one & will be looking at another supplier with better quality & construction.Stay away from this poor quality product.Update: Excellent Customer ServiceI was impressed by the way the company handled the situation. They provided an update in a timely matter.They also address all my concerns & provided their plans to adjusting their product, as well as revising their assembly instructions & creation of a video.Thank you & I would consider purchasing again after the revisions have been made.

This is a unique shelf in that it can fit directly behind the door. If you have paddle style handles you will need to cut a notch in it if you want to open the door all the way. Otherwise a regular handle would work just fine. Also I caulked the gaps in the wood and painted it to match the wall to further conceal the shelf. My daughter loves it!

Exactly as pictured, fits around baseboards and perfectly behind door! Using as a nursery bookshelf, and it fits both taller picture books on the higher shelves, as well as multiple layers of the short, thick board books as well. The putting together went smoothly, my husband used a drill to screw in the dowels/shelves and for mounting into the wall for sturdiness.
