The thickness and sturdiness of this mat is amazing! I switched from foam mats, and this is a life changer. I can felt multiple projects without my needle pushing through (as it would sometimes do with the foam mat). It's a small size, but I find that it suits my projects perfectly.

I’m new to felting and started on a foam pad. I upgraded to this a few projects in and I absolutely love it. A night and day difference! Well made, works absolutely wonderfully. I ended up getting a second as a gift to my mom!

I'm new to felting so I needed alllll the things to get started. This is by far the most useful of all the tools I loaded up on. I took this with me in the car to work on my project and it was the perfect size to bring along, not too heavy, and thick enough to protect the surface below it. I don't felt without it whether I'm on the go or in my craft room.

The wool definitely still sucks to this cushion, but it does not embed down into it. I do like how it feels and it's easier than my usual thick foam mats to use.
