As someone who has been needle felting for a number of years, I was in need of replacing my worn out foam pad for my needle felting projects. I love this needle felting wool pad-perfect portable size for needle felting on the go!Pros:1. Small but not too small-works for most needle felting projects2. Portable-no worries of it breaking when stuffing it in a purse or schoolbag3. Hardy-will stand up to tens of thousands of needle pokes4. Needles won't catch/rip up the wool mat5. Needle felting projects catch quickly, allowing for faster needle felting6. Minimal shedding of fibers on the matCons:1. Small amounts of wool do get caught in the mat as they are both fibrous materials-this is easily remedied by turning your project often and using smaller needle pokes-project fibers can be removed with a short tooth comb or with fingers.2. Has a tendency to warp slightly when doing a lot of projects-easily remedied by working the mat back and forth occasionally to restore shape.

I usually use the sponge felting pads, but this one works so much better & lasts much longer. Made felting my projects much easier.

I brought this to make a felt cat for my daughters 30th birthday, she loved it and I had a great time making it! I've fallen in love â¤ï¸ with felting and even purchased a larger woolbuddy to do landscape felting. This craft is so portable and relaxing 😌. Easy to use and easy to clean up.

This is a nicely made felting pad that works pretty well. It doesn’t stick to what I’m felting but my stuff sticks to it some so my project gets a bit fuzzy when I pull it off. I feel like maybe there’s something better out there but this works for me. I occasionally have to pull off some of my colored wool from this mat as well because little by little it does accumulate on it. Not 5 stars for me and I’ll keep looking but this works for my felting needs and keeps me protected too. Much better than foam I’ve used which ends up coming apart and sticking to my projects . Nice size for lap and storage

I know others have complained about this item, but I think it's MORE useful than the plastic mat things. Those don't even last one project, then, into the landfill goes MORE plastic, something that should end.The mat is filled with a heavy compression of felt itself, I believe. The surface does pick up some of the wool you're using, but it's very small, and came out easily.It's a good size. I wouldn't want to use a smaller one, but I'd still use even the smaller one over the plastic ones.And it's a good price!Highly recommended.

I have only tried needle felting one other time but the wool kept sticking to the foam pad I was using. Got this to see if it would be better and not leave the previous projects stuck behind. I made three thing’s tonight without any wool left behind. I love it.

Produit tout à fait conforme aux photos et à la description. Je l’ai testé hier et il est agréable d’usage. Pas très grand mais suffisamment pour faire des petits travaux (dans mon cas, petit animal) et pratique pour travailler sur ses genoux. Peut-être que sur une surface lisse il glisserait car il est fait en laine feutrée. Je prévois d’avoir un morceau de tapis antidérapant pour cette éventualité.Pas le plus important, mais la couleur aussi est conforme et jolie.
