I got this to make my sister a journal I was anxious about it cause I always burn the leather trying to put on the vinyl but this held up so good. Didn't burn at all and glueing it was so easy! I absolutely will be buying more!

I used the Black Goat Grain faux leather for this set. It seemed to adhere to my boards easily, didn’t cause too much thickness, and took my foiled heat transfer vinyl well. It did allow for impressions (though they were unwanted, user error impressions), so, I believe it would take to leather tooling impressions well, but I can’t say for sure since it didn’t use any. Easy to cut, looks like leather, and you can get about 2.5 books out of one role when using letter size paper for the text block.

It definitely took a little more time to glue on and trial and error, but I LOVE the feel of this and it’s much prettier then normal book cloth. Will order again

very difficult to fold and doesn’t make nice creases at all. glued better than the other i tried but i still resorted to super glue half the time. if you specifically want the leather look, try it but otherwise stick with regular book cloth.

I love the finish of this one so much, it was also way easier to glue on the the book casing because the glue doesn’t seep through!

This is great book cloth. Looks so pretty and easy to add vinyl to. For the price, I would absolutely get more. I can't wait to make more books with this book cloth.

This was a bit pricey for me, but it was a good match for a leather book I had been asked to make a sleeve for. It's quite thick and feels almost a bit spongy, and don't bother trying to glue it with bookbinders paste (it doesn't work on it). PVA worked a treat though, and it looked really smart, and feels nice in the hand :0)

Everything is as described, but as someone who purchases a lot of faux leather from Amazon, unless you have a specific color/texture/thinness you need, there are just MUCH better options with a better value
