Tough tools that get the job done without breaking the budget. All my battery tools are worksite!

I tried to save some money by buying some Worksite tools instead of reputable brands. Some worked for a few months, others a year. They are all now in the trash after dying on me. Just pony up and buy a real brand

I normally buy Dewalt tools but their comparable 20V model is almost $165 and that is a bare tool without a battery, charger or carry bag. This planer comes with a 4.0 Ah battery, charger and a nice carry bag. If you were to buy the battery it would be almost $50 and the charger is another $20. So basically your are getting the tool and bag for only about $30. Trust me this planer is worth WAY more than thirty bucks. It is well made and relatively quiet. It has a dust bag that attaches to either side. The aluminum base is solid, flat and smooth. It is depth adjustable to 1/16". The adjustment knob is marked 0-1.5 which I believe is 0-1.5mm but if you are measuring in fractions of an inch you will have to do a conversion. It would have been nice if they had both fractional and metric on the adjustment knob. The instructions are clear. Also included is a spare set of blades. There is a safety lockout button that has to be pressed in order to be able to press the power button. Plus the lockout button can be pressed from right or left so this is effectively an ambidextrous planer.
