Our oven stopped working a little while back and we assumed that we needed a new oven. I immediately grabbed my keys and ran to the car, so I could drive to Loweรขโฌโขs and buy a new one. But then I remembered that Iรขโฌโขm poor. So I decided to order this instead. A few bucks on Amazon and a few minutes installing this bake element saved me tons of money. It also saved me tons of embarrassment at Loweรขโฌโขs, where they would have discovered that Iรขโฌโขm poor and that would have been weird for both of us. But this element has been great. Itรขโฌโขs worked (for a long time now) just as expected and was very easy to install. It seems like a durable, high quality replacement part that is well worth the price. Five stars!

I'll share a secret here: We bought our home 40 years ago and still have the original stovetop/oven. (Kinda sad, huh?) But there's nothing revolutionary in appliance technology; and if a part goes out, they still make the replacements. (I remember the time when, before Amazon, you had to call a repair service or order from a dedicated parts depot.) Found the model number on a plaque inside the oven, watched a Youtube video, ordered the part, and replaced it myself. This is, maybe, the third heating element in this oven (the second time I've replaced it), and I'm looking forward to getting a few more years out of it before we do a kitchen remodel.

This unit fit perfectly and worked well for around 10 months, then failed. It comes with a 12 month warranty,, so the seller replaced it for free. I am very happy with that, but feel the unit should last a lot longer than 10 months. Good price though, and easy to replace.
