The valve worked as advertized, the only problem was the "female threads" on the supplied braided hoses were sloppy. By that, I mean that one would not thread on to my water faucet male threads. had to go buy a new hose from the hardware store.

I needed an additional valve for my hot water recirculation system because my water pipes flow to the extreme ends of the house in two directions from a tee in the middle of the house. I ordered this valve based on price and the reviews on Amazon. I was surprised to see that it came packaged in a hard plastic case that kept all the pieces intact. The quality level seems to be as good as the Grundfos parts that came with the pump. All was easy to install with just a pair of pliers. After installation, I started the pump and even though the hot water had to flow a good distance, I had warm/hot water at the valve in less than two minutes.This valve makes no noise, and seems like a good value for the money. Since I just installed it an hour ago, I can't comment yet on how well it performs in shutting off the flow when the water is hot or how long it will last, so if I notice any problems, I will update my review at that time.As you can see from the pictures, it is clearly made in China, but like I mentioned above, it seems like good quality.I would buy this again if I need one, but time will tell how long it lasts.

Well I should have taken notice from other reviews, yes the threads didn’t lineup on one side and cross threaded . What do you expect from China ! Other than that it works . Note I’ve installed many other brands with no problems with the thread issue.

found that after I install pump and valve as instructed with valve at upstairs sink. It was still taking time to get hot water in the kitchen it was better than before not perfect. I did some checking order this valve and instilled in the kitchen. Now keep hot water fast.

Missing washer makes it impossible to use out of the box. I paid full price not for opened and missing items.
