We use these for our horses' winter blankets, for the strap that goes around their legs. The original ones have been slowly breaking one after the other and these are great replacement.

The first one I got out the package the spring broke after about 20 cycles of open/close, it was stiff and catching… second one I got out actually worked so if you plan on making several things I’d buy extra, glad I purchased 2 packs to make about 6 key rings

I have leather x-back suspenders with no elastic. The snap hooks that come with the suspenders are far from this quality and tend to either pop the hook off of the swivel or break the swivel when too much or repeated stain is placed upon them. If I were to change anything to these it would be to make the hook slightly larger. Beyond that they make a good replacement for the original snap hooks.
