The relay can be a little sticky. Sometimes when I flash the high beams on it switches right back to low beams instead of holding it on high. The more I use it the less this happens, but it's inconvenient to be driving along and have the lights just flash instead of go to high or dip to low. It's a good option if you can't find an original 50 year old VW relay!
