My relay module had 16 SPST relays. I was using these to switch audio in a recording system. Two relays were used for a balanced feed for left and two were used for right channel. The control for these 4 relays were all wired together so they all switched at the same time. I am only using 4 of the relays now but plan to add other sources to other relays later. I put the relays in a box near the recorders and ran a small wire to the control box. Less than $50 total in parts and I replaced an audio switcher that was going to cost over $400 to replace. It doesn't have some of the fancy looking lights, meters or individual level controls the original unit had but it does everything we need and works great.
