HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
- HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor is a device that can measure the distance to an object by using sound waves. It measures distance by sending out a sound wave at a specific frequency and listening for that sound wave to bounce back. By recording the elapsed time between the sound wave being generated and the sound wave bouncing back, it is possible to calculate the distance between the sonar sensor and the object.

I bought these for the plastic holders, so take that into consideration in this review (and why I even gave them three stars). The sensors don't push all the way into the holders, so they just loosely hang there, ready to fall out. See picture. Even turning them upside down, so the pins face up, the same issue, and the same if you install from the backside. They simply do not fit snugly as have the MANY I have used in the past. This makes them useless unless you file the plastic holder at the top to make them fit; hoping to not break them and of course, making it so you cannot return them. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

When I was searching for this sensor, there were packages like this one, but this was the least expensive PLUS there are wires and a plastic holder for the sensors! Shipping was also fast!
