I just installed these heater relays because a code came up on my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 turbo diesel. I went for the less expensive fix and if that isn’t the problem then I will replace the intake heater.

We used then when adding a grid heater to a bus that didn't have one. Diodes are to light the glow plug light in the switch.

I recently put this into my 1999 Dodge RAM 2500 diesel pickup truck. It went in fast and works well (so far). However, the box was crushed by Amazon's new use of paper and plastic envelopes. I hoped the relay wasn't damaged. However, OTHER products I've recently ordered from Amazon have been damaged by their lousy packaging. There's no other HONEST way to say it. Not everything works well in an envelope!

Although the mounting bracket doesn’t work, I had to take each relay solenoid off they’re bracket and install on to my existing bracket. But, so far so good, I also cleared me check engine light and it hasn’t returned. I haven’t driven a lot so far either

Had to tighten the smaller and the larger nuts at the base of each post. Was NOT able to use the nuts from the original which had a built in lock washer and were brass coated....They weren't metric on the larger cable bolt and nuts. What is my opinion is that it's shoddy tap and die work....really close...but just not quite and wasn't clean cut. I could've forced the old ones on, I tried one, but it was too close to causing a problem. I couldn't clean and recut them either. I had to use the nuts provided with lock washers and it was pain getting them on but easy to drop them. Unit works just fine. Am happy with that. My wiring snapped on the small posts tight. I did this as pm as I REALLY didn't want to have to do this in winter.
