Recently started to replace the lights in my house with all LED and the old X10 controllers only function with incandescence bulbs (LEDs don't turn all the way off). There is a soft click from the relay when the switch turns on or off, but I don't feel that it's objectional. So far it's worked great, no false triggers either on or off.

I am switching lights on and off at a dock in Annapolis MD. They work great.

After the politicians stepped in to save us from ourselves my entire x10 system started to malfunction like crazy. The problem is x10 switches and lamp modules won’t work with LED bulbs. I really like my system and wanted to keep using it as is. So I tried purchasing one of these devices to control my outside lights. After installation I tested it and actually thought it wasn’t working, until I looked outside and saw the light was on. Turns out the relay is really quiet, which makes me very happy. Since this device uses a standard relay, it can be used for anything from incandescent to LED and fluorescent lighting, as well as things like fans. It doesn’t dim though, which is fine for my uses as I don’t want to dim my outdoor lighting. With that said I’m going to buy another one to retrofit another light I have.Hopefully the politicians will step in and save us from ourselves again, that way I can spend more money.

I used the X10 receivers for my pool light, pool water fall and my pool water fall lights. All the units were easy to install.Shipping was very fast. Now the test is to see how long they will last?

Interfaces perfectly with all X10 and Smart Home devices using PLC (Power Line Communication). One of the reasons I needed this unit as apposed to the dimmer modules which is what I have throughout most of the apartment is because now some LEDs don't dim well -- they flicker or just dim slightly and then go out. I much rather just have an ON and OFF functionality that is a positive switch rather than one that looks like something's wrong with the switch. This fixes that problem.

I've had one of these fixture modules for 2-years and although it is sturdy, like all other X10 technology, it isn't always 100% reliable. This one is wired into a set of outdoor lights that are about 100 feet from my electric panel, which causes it to be marginal in X10 signal reception. If addressed as part of an All-On signal, this one sometimes requires a second controller button press to get it to turn on the lights. It does work the first push if I address only this particular module. To solve this deficiency, I replaced an older X10 controller(line transmitter) with a newer X10 mini controller, and that seems to operate the Pro Fixture module during All-On commands.I just purchased and installed another one of these Pro Fixture Modules to replace a 3-prong X10 appliance module which was unable to respond to an All-On signal for a set of lights located 250' from my electric panel. The Pro Fixture module did the trick so it seems that it is a more sensitive X10 receiver than any of the appliance modules.

I use it for a whole house fan located in the attic. I think the one it replaced lasted about 8 years.
