I am giving 4 stars, I did not receive 6 needle threader tools I got 5 and they all resemble to top set green, blue, and red (I got green and blue colors only) the bottom colors as pictured yellow green, and pink- I did not get a single one of that type. I assume it would be 3 of the top ones, 3 of the bottom ones, and in randomized colors which is fine and expected.That is my only complaint here.The scissors will help cut loose threads and small things in your projects and would be great for someone quilting, crocheting, knitting, needlework like embroidery, and hand sewing.*Idea* The only thing that might be missing is for yarn work, you may want to grab some yarn needles to throw in, for finishing off projects when you sew/weave the yarn remnants into the project without tying knots. If you plan to give this as a gift, to a yarn enthusiast, make sure to pick up some fat yarn needles to toss in, maybe a cute storage bag or organizer and some safety pins, and for the yarn projects- stitch keepers too. You could go as far as adding a basic spool of black thread, white thread, or a large mini set of multiple colors of threads, and a pin cushion. If you're building a gift basket of things, a fat quarters set of fabrics, a quilter cutting board, cuttings squares, and a rotary cutting blade with refills might be a nice touch. Or yarn/knit, some knitting tools, and yarn. An embroidery hoop, canvas, floss, buttons and embellishments. The ideas are endless when building a gift for someone.These tools will serve as a great base starter set, you can build from there what else you might need, or make a great addition to a gift set for your fellow crafters.The nippers are quite sharp. Impressive. Two sharp seam rippers, I really like the ergonomic handled one, it has a much better grip most anyone would probably like over the simple version. The simple one is great for travel use though but you can toss it in with any of your projects and keep the good one handy in your sewing kit. Plenty of spare needles 8 regular, 4 medium, 4 long.If you plan on doing beadwork with these, the beads need to have big enough holes, tiny seed beads probably will not work. Again this is a basic set, so add to it what you need, all of which will be sold separately.Overall not a bad set, minor issues with missing items but I was mainly wanting these for the ergonomic seam ripper and the nippers.

I don't sew a lot, but when I need to repair clothes or touch them up, this kit comes in handy. I just found out after I got the seam ripper that the red ball is supposed to go on the inside of the seam to protect the clothing haha. That was a game changer! This kit is handy. I like the size of the handle for the seam ripper, and it cuts very easily. I didn't know sewing scissors was a thing until I saw this, and they make things so much easier! The scissor is easy to hold in your hand and get close and precise unlike conventional scissors where you have to hold your hand away and the tip blocks your view. The scissors snip the yarn so crisp. The needles are sturdy and long so they're easy to use. I have not used the other tools as I am unfamiliar with their uses.

I been sewing a cosplay costume by hand. And this kit is great. The needles are very sturdy and easy to thread. Everything in the kit is well made.

This is a nice kit for must-have sewing items. I'm always in need of needle threaders, and the seam rippers are nice and sharp.

Over the years, I have lost most of my sewing supplies. Not that I do much sewing, but I do like to have the items around, so I thought I would replenish the items. This is a nice little set to do just that. I now have all the needles I need; they are a decent quality and will work for me. The large seam ripper is nice, it feels good in my hand and works well. The smaller one seems cheap and small, but I will be keeping it around in case I have something that requires the smaller footprint. The scissors seem cheap, but I will keep it with the set since it is better than nothing. I was disappointed in the needle threaders. The description and pictures show 6 of them in two different styles. I was excited to try out the second style that I had never seen before. Much to my disappointment, I received 5 needle threaders, all the wire style that I have always used.So, to sum it up, I now have items that I can use. No new items to try out. So, an average purchase.

I needed to replace my very dulled seam ripper, and the hand-sewing needles I have are ones that came in a cheap sewing kit (those needles are poor quality, and the eyes are nearly impossible to thread.) This set of sewing tools have those items and more – the seam rippers are sharp! One has a handle that makes it easy to hold and will be my go-to seam ripper - the other is just so small - but sharp. The hand-sewing needles are sharp and sturdy, and they come in a variety of sizes. Most importantly, the eyes are good quality, and I can actually thread them! These come with needle threaders that are convenient to have on hand, and finally – this set comes with a small thread trimming snip scissors (I don’t know their official name.) This wasn't something I was planning to go out to buy, but it came with this set, and honestly, it is sharp and easy to use - and will be very handy to use at my sewing machine. The price is good for everything included.

These before threaders are really useful. Although they look a little easy to break, they are sturdy and do the job they're meant too. Small, compact, and colourful, which makes it easier to identify which threader you prefer to use. Happy with this purchase. This item came a day earlier than expected. I appreciate that. Thank you.

After over 50 years of sewing I thought the time was right to update some of my tools.This little set is quite good for the money. A negative is the seller says they provide a storage bag. I guess that depends on your perception of storage and bag. The items are actually in a bubble wrap envelope which, in my opinion, is not very good when there are sharp items enclosed.I like the large seam ripper. It’s easy to hold and the rubber feel to the handle makes it feel safe to hold too. The small one is smaller in length than my existing ones and does feel quite cheap but it and the larger one are both sharp and easy to use.The snips are very sharp and easy to use just by squeezing. These are just in a cellophane bag and really need something stronger to store them to prevent accidents on the sharp points.The needles are all sharp, straight and feel good quality. There are no rust marks which sometimes occurs in quantities of needles and all the eyes are true.The needle threaders are - needle threaders. I’ve only used the folded wire ones before now and the oval ones with a little hook on are new to me. I’m struggling to use them as the hook is so small but I think that’s my poor eyesight and lack of experience with this particular style rather than the fault of the item.Overall a good set of tools at a reasonable price. I’ve deducted a star for the lack of safety features.
