I plant grass every year from Tractor Supply for our horses in the winter months. This seed did not produce 1 blade of grass.

The seed is good quality stuff. However it does take a good while to germinate if you only spread it on the ground. I have some hilly pasture ground that I can't till with a tractor which is what the bag wants. I spread it on the ground in hopes of the frost pushing it into the soil. This worked but it took over a month to see results. The small amount that I tested by tilling sprouted in a week. So just be patient with it.

We set the seed in the late winter without preparing the ground at all and the pasture looks good. A bit too much clover for my taste but it choked out the weeds I definitely did not want.

This is a really great blend and works well in western Colorado. Like all seed right now it is to high price for me but a great blend all the same

Waste of money ! I purchased two 25lb bags to over seed in worn pasture areas and followed instructions, nothing came up after a couple of weeks of rain and warm sun...it's been over 6 weeks !!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WASHINGTON STATE ! I reviewed several seed products on Amazon and settled on Pasture Land, did not work for me and I have over seeded in the past with another product and was extremely pleased and the horses love those areas ! Had to give one star in order to submit this review
