They were easy to interconnect to each other. Needed to drill 3 holes for each one to get base plates in place vs using existing screw holes, but not that hard to do. If they really last 10 years and no replacing of batteries it will be worth the cost. To avoid getting on a ladder to test them periodically it would be nice to have a small remote … Lou can buy an extra one that you don’t install to test the rest of them but a remote would be much more handy. Just installed so can’t respond to reliability / functionality yet.

I intentionally waited three months to provide a review in order to assess the product's performance over time. The installation process was straightforward, utilizing the hardware provided. In a darker environment, a subtle, slow blinking light indicates that the device is functioning correctly.

When I changed the batteries on my Google Nest Smoke/CO alarm I found out that Google had dropped support.I found the X-Sense alarm and got a 1 day delivery. Packaging was great and the installation was very easy. I particularly liked that the 3 units could be connected so if one goes off they all go off. The 10 year battery life is also a positive.

The co/ smoke detector was as described. Seems to be well made and was easy to install. Would recomend.
