My bread whisk is missing. The only option is to fully send back the product and I don’t have the chance to do that so I’ll just take a loss I guess. Otherwise the rest of the pieces are good quality.

Love this "set" of sourdough bread making essentials. The whisk is good, not great, but still better than using a big spoon. The bannetons are perfect and the linen liners are great. The rounded plastic scraper and the metal straight edge scraper are both excellent, performing very different uses. My only negative comment is regarding the double-sided razorblade on a handle to be used for scoring the top of the bread. The bread stick to it, even if you wet the blade, and it doesn't cut deep enough.Overall, I'm delighted with this purchase, and would recommend it to anyone just getting started with breadmaking.

Two images in the item description are dedicated to this dough whisk. All other items were present and in good condition. The handle for the whisk was altogether absent, making the whisk wholly unusable. Let down by this one item. Not something broken in transportation, but rather an item knowingly sent without a handle.

Solid construction, lots of tools and materials to make bread frequently.Prep your liners ahead of time for optimal performance. Scrapers and lame worked well. Happy with the acquisition.

This package is great for the beginning bread baker. I love everything in it, they all work so well, with the minor exception of the Danish Bread Whisk. I can't see how it's more efficient than a wooden spoon, & it's quite difficult to get the dough out of all the little nooks & crannies. Maybe I just need practice, but I've been baking for so many years without it, & I don't think my baking has suffered with just using a wooden spoon or my hands.The Bread Lame is excellent, very easy to use; the proofing baskets are great - you end up with a lovely textured dough, & loaf crust. The stainless steel scraper/cutter is excellent - very sharp, but you do need to coat it with a fine layer of flour so it doesn't get stuck in the dough. The plastic scraper is fine, if you like using those - I prefer to just use my fingers, because I can get a good feel for my dough, but that's just my preference.This is a really good kit, good value for money. Highly recommend.

With two baskets, and all the tools necessary, it's perfect for making any kind of sourdough or loaf. Store bought bread can get expensive and doesn’t taste nearly as good.
