The way they hold up the screen is by the screws that attach the legs. Lets mfg use a smaller screen. Fits INSIDE firepit, not on top.Will know more about how it holds up after a few more fires. OK for the price.

Easy to assemble and the quality seems to be on par with the price point.I purchased it to burn scrap lumber from my woodworking shop so it not going to be heavily used.When not used, I’ll store it in the attic so it doesn’t rust.The wife loves it and that’s what is most important.

The materials are thin and flimsy, it doesn’t feel very sturdy at all. It’s not exactly hard to put together, but they didn’t make it easy either. Have a helper, and be prepared to have to knock some things into alignment. If the materials were more sturdy it wouldn’t need to be bent back into shape. All of that said, however, it is cute and does the job of holding flaming logs inside. The ring around the sides makes it easy to carry, and makes a nice place to lay your marshmallow roasting stick.

The quality of the product was not good so I requested a return. The seller tricked me into paying for shipping that cost $215 promising a refund. But when I submitted the receipt, the seller comes back with a $37 shipping refund offer. The product was worth $130. I asked for a shipping return label and no response except a message for shipping refund promise. Now I am scammed into a $215 out of pocket expense and don’t even have the product.Update: Amazon being the most customer centric company gave me amazon credit worth of the shipping fee I had paid. Still unbelievable how seller is tricking customers and getting away with it.
