Perfect not to high flames or low. Just enough for heat and easy to put out with the lid. Long lasting mini bon fire. Works good for outdoor tables without burning thru and safe for out patio. To put out the flames all we do is place the lid back on.

Used these camping because of a fire ban in the area. Set it on a fireproof table, lit it and it was just like we had built a campfire. Used one for 4 hours the first night then snuffed it out with the lid. Second night I relit it and it lasted bout an hour. Just popped a new one on the table and lit it and instant campfire. Everyone was amazed by how it looked and how much heat it put out. Amazing product! I also was looking at the reviews posted by others. Someone gave a 1 star review because the didn't clearly read the instructions on how to use it and pored water on it. Wax floats on water and will create a huge fire ball, but they assumed they were smart enough to not read the instructions to use a portable campfire. It's no ones fault but your own that you burned up a $600 umbrella. Give me a break! Wow! 10 stars from me and I read the instructions to make I wasn't going to burn anything down. And the lid is plenty big enough to douse the flames. Slide it from the side and it goes out immediately. And yes I checked about the fire ban and was approved to use it. I love this product.

These are great and produce your own mini camp fire. They do get HOT so make you sure you follow instructions and don’t use it on any surface that could melt or burn. They are easy to blow out like a candle or just put the top on.

I love to sit on our deck, even when it's chilly. We were nervous about having a free standing heater under the covered portion of our deck so my husband purchased these little campfires with no expectations. They work great! No harsh smells, extremely easy to light and put out when needed. We left then on our coffee table and was like having your own lil campfire without the hassle! We will definitely purchase again this winter!

I am 77 yrs old and went on vacation with my 2 grandsons and their mother. They are 10 & 13 we went to cabin in woods, winter, We put the 8†portable campfire in the fire place in place of all the trouble of collecting wood & kindle and clean up after. We put on grate , it was great, fantastic. We did s’mores & hot dogs , it was warm & cozy. Lasted for 5 hours , 2 hours first night then just cover to stop flames, used 3 hours the next night. Fantastic no smoke , making sure fire out, no hassle. I bought 2 more for next trip. Amazing product
