I am using it for a different purpose. I have a pellet grabbed in it and use it to shape other pellets who have messed up skirts but that doesn't matter because it's a well made tool that will last in what ever your using it for. It's very solid and does not feel cheap in any way.

I used the kit to tap four m6 holes in my truck bed. It worked, but helandle could have been wider for better leverage and ease of cutting. But it worked and for the cheapest price I could find.

I had to assemble a daybed and to my dismay, one hole had no threading for the bolt to screw in and three of the holes had an incomplete thread where the bolts couldn’t even go through all the way. Once I ordered this tool, I was able to shave some metal off (threading?) and BAM! The M6 bolts were able to screw all the way through and kept tight. Hope this helped!

These are P.O.S. plain and simple. The sizes are not exact either. 5mm and 6mm were off some. The vice/screwdriver just plained sucked. It will hold the last two biggest sizes but the rest of the smaller sizes worked less and less the smaller it got.

The tap handle will not close down enough to grip small size taps. Taps ok.

Used this to add threads to some holes in my Maverick truck bed where I wanted to add tie downs. Worked fine for that and includes the two tap sizes I needed, 6 and 8 mm. Patience is the key. Add oil to the holes and proceed a little at a time while backing out and cleaning the metal shards.

Tee handle is not captive so it’s constantly falling out when you reposition your hand.Unit will not hold smaller taps, it doesn’t go down far enough. It won’t hold the smallest taps it’s supplied with.It does not ratchet despite description in header.The only reason I am keeping it is for the taps, I’ll be recycling the holder.
