This is the only holder I have found that is optimized for a spinning reel. It has 2 ends, and you reverse it if you have a casting reel. Nice design and well made!

Use this in the back of my kayak to hold my trolling rod. Have it paired with the extension and works great. Holds the rod in place and is easy to get out and put in.

I like that I can lock a spinning rod into the holder with one hand. Haven't had a rod jump out since I switched to these. The LockNLoad system is reliable, flexible, and easy to use.

I've used Railblaza and Scotty rod holders. These are far better than both. The ease of adjustment and the way the rod locks in is really amazing. I've found the perfect rod holder for me. I troll live bait for Tarpon and feel secure with these.

Well built and thought out, its still February haven't had a chance to try it our but if feels good. Will update later after some use.
