I picked up a generac pressure washer off Facebook Marketplace for $25 that had a bad pump. I bought a cheap carburetor and this replacement pump, and the pump fit perfectly. It now works great and has plenty of pressure—just like a new one.Removing the old pump was the real challenge. The hex-head screws were tough to reach without a ball-end hex wrench, but luckily I had one on hand. That inexpensive tool turned out to be invaluable for this kind of job. However, installing the new pump isn’t as difficult—you can probably get by just fine with a regular Allen wrench because there is much more room.

I installed it on a power washer Honda engine and it fit fine. I did have to move the motor forward some as the handle was in line with the hose attachment. Unit ran well and much cheaper than a whole new power washer.

My 10+ year old Generac pressure washer finally gave up. I serviced then replaced the unloader and that didn't help. I saw that Amazon has the direct replacement pump for around $150. I figured for the money saved, I'd be willing to try this one and see how it performs and how long it lasts.Swapping pumps was very easy. Yamatic even provides new bolts, a new key in case your old one is too worn down, and some extra pressure washer tips!The *only* fit issue is that my old pump has a wider lip where it mates with the engine housing and this pump is smaller such that it exposes a few millimeters of the shaft housing area which will allow water/dirt/dust to enter and accelerate wear. I'm going to get a sheet of gasket material and just cut a wider gasket and that should prevent most of the dirt intrusion.Worked flawlessly when I fired it up and the pressure was like new (rather than the somewhat weaker pressure recently).

Easy to install. Works great and seems like the psi is either equal to or higher than original pump. I have 2 pressure washers, both of which had defective pumps. I replaced pumps on each with these units. Very happy. Great value. Back in operation quick.

I fix and repair small engines as a hobby, I have used many of this brands pumps. They are reliable and powerful. They are not intended for commercial work but for a casual and homeowner it will give them years of service as long as they drain them after each use.
