This stand was great. It held our almost 10 foot tree without any issues. It holds a lot of water, almost a full gallo I think,which was nice and it’s solid construction. The only issue or complaint I had is that the four screws designed to go into the tree trunk didn’t have ends on them to like hold the tree, so they dug into the tree and weren’t as solid as I’d have liked. Maybe our tree was really soft so that part wasn’t the best.

This stand is the best for large live-cut trees. We tried a plastic model and it cracked from the pressure, so we love this metal one. It holds water well too. The tree doesn’t wobble, even when the cat climbs up it. Great stand.

This tree stand is everything a tree stand should be…except for one thing. While it’s strong, well made, and built to last, apparently I bought the large version. Don’t get me wrong, it worked fabulously. Just maybe too fabulously. My husband took one look at it and said, “Ooooh…that can hold a BIG tree…†It held our standard 7 footer perfectly all merry season, but had an underlying chant taunting my husband… “Bigger next year!â€

We usually have to anchor our live tree so it doesn’t tip because of carpeting. This stand is so stable that even with our 8 foot tree in it there is no instability on the carpeting.
