First thought was, “This is kind of weird with the fake flowers on top.†But actually, it hides it better among the shrubs. More on that later.From a practical perspective this does everything needed. Step on the foot pedal and drop the bag in under the raised lid. It’s pretty easy to line with its own trash bag, then lift out for disposal. There is a metal hook on the back of the hinge that might be usable for a pooper scooper also. I can’t imagine coming close to filling this between garbage pick-up days.Now back to the flower camouflage on top. The zip tie holding the fake flowers in place was broken when it arrived, so just replaced it with a new zip tie. Because there are two holes in the lid for running the zip tie through, however, it’s important to fill that gap to keep odors inside the can. Next step will be to use the glue gun on the inside of the lid to ensure no smells make it past the holes, as it was with the original zip tie that broke.It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty good. And if you don’t like the flowers, just remove the flowers and fill the gap.

Plant was broken off when I opened it but the can itself works well for collecting about a week of dog poop.

I like this because of the stealthy aspect of the plant attached to the lid. ;) As a product, it's ok. Kind of cheaply made and mine had come unassembled somehow. I was able to get it to work, but the lid action is very stiff and requires much effort to step on the lever and raise the lid. Then my fake plant came off and I had to find a zip tie and put it back on. Nothing major, but not what you want to be doing with a brand new product. So the trash can is OK, but the plant atop it makes it better.

This small waste bin for dog poop is pedal operated and the right size so that you are not tempted to let things “pile upâ€. But the plant is horrible. As advertised though. Removing it leaves holes in the lid. Obviously not odor proof after that, but a small amount of weatherproof tape cures it. Works as it should, but overpriced for what it is even if the price is comparable to others. Cheap looking and probably won’t last. Functions but should have included liners at least.

This is a very high quality trash can ... except for the plant addition on top. That's the only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 rating. That plant arrived unattached and unfixable because the zip-tie that they apparently used to affix to the can had snapped. However, the plant idea was just a novelty to me anyway. Once you get beyond the plant, this can is top-notch. Heavy and sturdy on the outside. Inside, the actual trash goes into a heavy plastic bin insert that lifts out separately with a built-in handle. This makes it easy to dispose of the contents and adds a nice measure of odor protection. Foot pedal is sturdy and opens the lid fully and easily.

This is adorable and I am very happy with it. So convenient to hide the doggy bags. It is the perfect size and the quality is good. The foot pedal makes it easy to place the bags inside. I love it and recommend it.
