Been in hvac over 7 years and working in a desert area where we get 120 degree days during August and summer lasting till october and November i use my refregerant gauges alot. And these are my go to hoses. Never had any issues with them just replace the o ring gaskets every summer and they are good to go.

But we need them, right! Also, I’d buy the 6 foot ones over the 4. Much easier to sling over the shoulder
