Very easy to use. I was able to install upper wall cabinets alone! I am a professional remodeling contractor. For years I made do with some small plywood braces. These things are a game changer and allow you to fine tune your placement before fastening cabinets

UPDATESo, I've been using these for 8 months now and the first issue has raised its head. One of the set, has started binding in the first 3 inches of so of travel. The other one still works fine. The issue is the two metal plates that lock the unit to the vertical bar will not release after you squeeze the handles, unless you get your finger in there and lift up on it. I'm going to take it apart and see what I can figure out, but it is definitely an annoyance, especially when I need two jacks at the same time.ORIGINALI'm replacing an older set of jacks from another brand, due to the handle breaking on one of them. These appear to be much better made than my old set. The action is quite smooth, and the polished verticle bar is a nice touch. I install cabinets for a living and tools like this make the job much easier.Pros:Smooth action.Seem sturdy, but haven't been tested yet.Clamping attachments and silicone pads are a nice feature.Extentions will allow for use to install wall cabinets after bases, if necessary.Price.Cons:The base pad interferes with the lifted fingers and does not allow you to lower the lift platform all of the way.The extension pieces ARE NOT very well built. I'm curious to see if they will handle a W3042 cabinet without complaining. I would've expected this part to be a little more substantial considering it's intended use.Right now I'm giving 4 stars based on initial impression. I will update when I have had the opportunity to put them to the test.
