I don’t use them for cabinets, but I love the ability to adjust and lift.

I used these to help me install a large medicine cabinet in a bathroom. I was able to do it myself. What I didn't know when I purchased them is that both "feet" pivot so it's very easy to adjust them to the right angle. More helpful than I expected. Decent quality and you can make pretty fine adjustments in tension to get things lined up.

Cabinet jacks are a lifesaver! Trying to hang wall cabinets solo is tough, but these things make it so much easier. They give you that extra set of hands you need to get everything lined up and secured. Seriously, if you're installing cabinets, get yourself some cabinet jacks!Con- is something the jack(s) will slide.

The ball joint doesn't fit into the joint, I leaned on it with all my weight (200+ lbs) and it still would not go into place. Eventually the ball portion broke off. I'm going to return and go with a better brand.

This item is well built and easy to operate. I bought it to support a long clothes hanging rod in my closet which was sagging. Installed easily, adjusted easily and is doing a great job.

Attaching the end pads is not easy. I had to use a hammer and silicon spray to join the pads.

The Jacks worked as far as holding weight, but you still need a 2nd person to hold the jacks/item in place since the bottom and top are on pivots. there is no use for this, in my opinion. if these were stationary, or could be locked into place, that would be ideal. It took me multiple attempts to install a range hood over my stove top, the pivoting ends made the task very difficult.
