Flimsy case causes misalignment when trying to close. Inside materials are also cheap. Fabric ripped when I tried to move the Velcro adjustment.

I did not get it from Amazon but from another Online dealer and paid $100 more. On that Website, it did not even say it was "mixed Carbon Fiber" but just carbon fiber. Due to the price, I knew the quality would not be like the Gewa 1.8 violin case that I have but I was hoping at least something lightweight enough. No, this one weighs almost 8.4 pounds, that is similar to BAM cloth double violin/viola case. But because this is rigid with absolute no "gives", it feels a lot heavier. I have not tried to see how "strong" the case is by stepping on it like in some ads (did not want to tempt the fate). The interior is a bit flimsy. The instruments do not have their own compartments but divided by two flimsy, removable Velcro dividers that do not go all the way so I am afraid the instruments will end up touching each other. And the neck restraints feels like leather shoelace things (they may not be made of leather) that you do not want to tie too tightly. Unlike BAM, this one at least comes with a blanket with velvet and satiny sides. It comes with two removable shoulder straps but does not come with a music pocket that can snap on and off with snaps or Velcro. I did not return this Yinfente case because the Website where I bought it asked me to pay for the return shipping to China. I will still use my BAM to transport them to rehearsals and will use this case to store the instruments. Material being fiber glass with carbon mixed in, I assume this case will scratch very easily. At least if you buy it here, you will pay $100 less so there is one good thing.
