MEASUREMENTS INCLUDED at the end of this review, with pictures. I am so pleased. The strap is nice and thick; I've seen other folks' straps that look rather bedraggled because they are so flimsy. Easy to slide loose or taut--but not so easy that it slides on its own. (That was once concern I had about a similar strap with those little metal loops that the straps slid through; I was worried it would loosen). Very comfortable. Even if I throw my mat in a corner, the straps stay in place.A favorite feature for me is that this strap doubles as a stretching strap. It's not very long compared to stretching straps (measurements below) and I'm only 5'4" (though I'm not super flexible) so this might not work for taller or inflexible people or those who like lots of extra strap trailing behind. But it's long enough for me and I like that I can hang onto the loops or even cinch them around my hands to make stretching easier. In fact, if the strap were much longer, the loops would be too far down the strap to be useful for holding while stretching. Not only did I not have to purchase a separate strap for stretching positions, I don't have to haul it around. With the strap pulled taught and the loops as small as possible, the strap measures about 5ft (60in). Add in a couple extra inches for the loops, and the strap is probably about 65 inches total (though some of that is lost to the loops, as I said). With my thin/average mat in place in the loops, it leaves about 3 ft for the strap/handle that slings over my shoulder. I'm 5'4" and it hits me at my hip. When using it for stretching, there is about 2+ feet of strap on either side to hold onto (counting leaving some loop to grab). I should post pictures of that, if I remember. The the strap itself is a fixed length, the loops that hold your mat are completely adjustable to tiny--almost nonexistent--or big enough to fit a thick mat--though it will affect how much length is left for the strap/handle that you would wear on your shoulder. This will definitely hold a thick mat, but it would sit shorter on you.

I have been doing yoga for some time now. Since I travel so much, I needed to find a way to take my yoga mat with me. Not only was this strap the perfect fit, but it was very easy to carry.I wanted something simple and easy to transport my mat around with. This strap worked great for that. I have a regular sized GAIAM mat, and it fit like Cinderella's glass slipper (minus the Prince, unfortunately). I know some people had mentioned finding it difficult to adjust or keep tight, but I did not have any of those problems. It held nicely and didn't slip or loosen once. Although it collected some sand when I took it on the beach with me, it still carried my mat with ease and strength. It's amazing how something so simple and light can carry my mat so well. On top of everything, what I love is the fact that it doubles as yoga straps during some of my stretches. Compared to a yoga bag, this saves space while traveling and is so convenient. There are so many color options. Everybody loves options! I have 2 other yoga mats that do not have straps. One is quite thick, and the strap actually works on it too. So I plan on buying a matching color for the thick one and for my other GAIAM mat. I am so glad I found this product, because it saved me money and worked out great. I have already referred this product to my friends and family.Final thoughts: Great buy for a great price!

I purchased this yoga strap to use with my new yoga mat. I wanted an easy way to transport my yoga mat to and from class. It arrived timely and as expected. The yoga strap color was exactly as the image appeared and I was pleased. It is a pretty shade of purple. The strap appears to be made of quality material and where I haven't used it for long, it appears it will last a while without issue. The one thing I noticed was there were no instructions. Also, I would assume at some point you will want to clean your yoga mat and strap, knowledge on this as well would have been appreciated? Now for some, this may seem silly, but for someone new to yoga and never having used a product similar to this, instructions would have been nice. That being said, it was easy to figure out. The use is simple and easy to maneuver over the ends of the yoga mat, once in place, it makes for an easily transportable yoga mat. I would recommend this yoga strap to others.

I bought this product in order to "top up" my order so that it qualified for free shipping. However, I have to say that I am very impressed with this product and company. Not only does the strap feel incredibly durable, but there is an elegant simplicity to the design that makes you happy to use it. It is quick and easy to put on and take off, with no buckles to adjust. In addition, it is the perfect weight and length to use as a strap to aid in various stretches (e.g., leg in the air poses). The product came with a note/e-mail from the co-founder of the company, which was a very nice touch.

Better quality than expected. Strong, heavy duty fabric with excellent stitching. Much stronger than my old elastic strap and it doesn’t stretch out of shape. The photos show the standard strap on my extra thick 15mm mat. You wouldn’t be able to sling it over your shoulder but I wanted to just carry it by the handles. If you want to sling an extra thick mat I would go for the larger strap option.Shipping was very fast to Australia

I ordered the strap because I grew tired of struggling to get my yoga mat into my mat bag. I have a thicker longer B mat and after abandonning my mat bag, I found carrying my mat to be difficult because it is heavy to carry and my mat was constantly unravelling. However with my recent purchase of the Clever Yoga Mat Sling, my problems are over. The sling is easy to use and I can now store and carry my yoga mat with ease. This is a great product and i love its simplicity; good; quality; and reasonable price.

The strap supplied was of a low quality, does not have the folded stitching as shown in the photograph and is not a "clever yoga" strap as advertised. Also a very different hue of blue and somewhat short,

A great quality and economical strap. We bought one for our 8 year old daughter as it's easy for kids to use with no buckles but it's so good I just ordered a second one as I am starting yoga.Edit:second one arrived. Seller was just as good as before, such good customer service for even a low price item. Strap is excellent again.
