I got these pants for my daughter. She just turned 8 and they fit her fine. I got her the 8-9 size. The coffee color is a nice warm color that says style and fashion. She absolutely loves how they look on her. They're loose and flowy just as the description states. They look great on her.

My shortie daughter who I got the 10-11 size for (the size she's growing into) found the pants too long for her. However, she quickly pivoted and hiked the waist band up really high and it stayed. Note that the waistband is 2-3" tall of gathered, stretchy waist. There are side pockets.We got the green and it is a sage green for sure. Since these are lightweight fabric, these pants are more for 60 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 give or take and depending on if your girl runs cold or hot. You might be able to get away with 50-degree temperatures with a long cardigan which would look very cute!These are the type of fabric that is impervious to a lot. They went through both washer and dryer like a breeze. They came out wrinkle free. Overall, soft, drapey, flowing and more dress-up.

They 're soft and flowy with lots of room for comfort and air-flow. In hot weather, they're very cool which is especially important here in Southern California. Plus, a dash of style with the interesting high-waisted fit.Great pants for a kid who's active!
