I bought this bit for my friend who is taking the lead on a major remodel of my home. He has over 60 years (very old school) as a home builder and cabinet shop owner. I supplied this bit at his request to do a standard cut on over 19 roof rafters using a template that he created. The bit performed very well. Thus, I gave it the 5 star review based on his satisfaction with the bit. I would recommend this bit.

It's a great bit. Every Yonico I buy I am constantly happy with it. I have CMT's, Yonico's, Whiteside's, and they're all good, but for the price Yonico is affordable and I'm super happy with each of their performances. This one is a longer bit but the quality isn't sporadic through the cut like I've had with a Diablo straight bit.

I used this bit to route the mortises to install the hardware for a leg vise. The bit work as expected. Taking multiple shallow passes it left a crisp edge. I am very please to have added this bit my collection.

I used this for some router work on the end grain of hickory and it worked well for me.

This router bit did exactly what is was made for. I helped it do its job easier because I gave it time to cool off and when slowly and a little at a time. This is a pretty big bit. It will be taking off alot of material. It will take time for it to do so completly. Don't rush it! On the downside, it gets all black and the paint chips really fast. Also, after the first I found the blade lost its sharpness. Its a quick fix but should be adressed.Overall, it,ll get most jobs done. Give it a try.

great bit for the money . I am using it for template cutting works fine as long as you take your time and use 3 1/4 hp router. for the price cant be beat.

I bought this for a dedicated application that requires a bit of this length, I am quite impressed. I typically use the dark blue or red bits available at the two primary US based big box stores, this bit performs better than the red ones and is on par with the dark blue. The only negative of this bit is that it collects gummed up shavings in dense hardwoods like Hard Maple, Wenge, Bubinga etc. which the dark blue bits tend not to do... Considering the price difference there's no question in my mind that Yonico is the best selection of "bang for your buck" router bits presently on the market.

Used for cutting slots through 2X6 boards. One bit cuts approximately 120 slots before dulling.
