This is advertised as being fairly thick and its not. Mine has been out for a week and has not expanded past about two inches thickness. It also has some odd stitching that was maybe supposed to be taken off? Not really sure. Its unraveling but it doesn't look like its impacting the integrity of the pad, at least not yet.

I got this in a queen size for my toddler because he is accident prone and he was always getting hurt on his normal toddler bed. But it’s so comfortable, I found myself waking up with less back pain on the nights I fell asleep putting him to bed.

I got this and a foam mattress topper to go in the guest bedroom, its very comfy combines, but alone it would not suffice for anyone with any sense. Its not as plush as pictured, but would work if you were in a pinch or wanted it for camping or in your car. Otherwise, you will need something else to go with it, like a foam topper )4 in at least) and a bunky board to go underneath.

**update - they tried to bribe me with a $50 gift certificate to change this to a 5-star review. Then they said they would offer me a refund if I first changed this to a 5-star review. Considering the different excuses for the poor quality, and the attempt to gain my sympathy with their supposed bankruptcy, I did not believe they would refund anything. After many months, I maintain this is a a terrible product with false advertising*** ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is not a futon. It is more like a heavy comforter. We waited a week for the foam to fluff back up after being compressed in the packaging. It is still maybe 1†thick at the most. It does nothing to provide any kind of cushioning. It is no where near being 4†thick, and as soon as you put weight on it you might as well be sitting on a sheet on the floor.

When I bought this I let it rest for 3 days and it never got thicker than about 2 in at its thickest points and an inch thick at its thinnest. Because the mattress is not even level all over. And I don't mean where they have the threaded fabric to hold it together I mean the fullness of the mattress is thinner in some spots and thickest the corners. Most distressingly if the mattress was the thickness that they say it is I think it would be more than adequate for the price range but because it is so thin if you want a similar experience you would need at least two mattresses stacked on top of each other. The cover came broken. So the mattress cover has stayed unzipped this entire time. That being said even though it is thin it is held up over the two years since I bought it. I just desperately desperately wish it was thicker. Beyond that the mattress is easy to clean easy to transport the transportation bag that it comes with is useless but it's not hard to find something that could fit it for a move or for storage.Tldr: thin but overall adequate.

I really like this floor mattress and it is very comfortable to sit and lay down on. The package comes with a nice mattress storage bag that you can roll the mattress up in and place inside. It also has some hardest straps with a buckle to fasten the rolled up mattress for storage. What's also cool about this: It comes with a nice fitted sheet, in which I was pleasantly surprised. Love it!
