Turns out it is quite large, definitely thick as described, but the foam on the inside doesn't spread out evenly and it has many lumps and bumps, not very comfortable. Of course there is no way to send it back once it is out of the box.

I recommend this futon mattress only if you have a good amount of space. I live in an RV and thought that this would be more rv friendly and it’s not. It’s big and bulky and somewhat heavy. But it’s great and comfy if you have a house,office whatever as long as you have space lol. It does take a good 2 days to fully expand.

I thought with this being an 8 inch mattress it would be somewhat comfortable, but it’s not quality looks good, but it’s just not comfortable at all. I wouldn’t waste my money.

This "matress" comes squished in a 2 foot square box. It took 3 days for it to puff up into some kind of shape. The mattress is made of a fuzzy fabric sac that is filled with baseball sized chunks of foam. It is a lumpy mess that is uncomfortable to sit on let alone sleep on. It is awful.
