This works great. I had bought a cheaper one earlier that wasn't welded all the way around like this one, and the cans never smashed. My recycle was always overflowing, but now it's under control!

Plugs are special so you can not hook up wiring wrong...but upon pressing button, the control pilot "ON" light on controller was not lit and nothing happened so assume the controller is bad... Box was in tact but showed signs of being thrown around and controller had a part in it that rattled...so trying a replacement. Item itself seemed well built and sturdy. Replacement arrived and worked perfectly...as indicator lamp was lit showing power available. Takes 6 seconds for piston to crush a can so not slow at all. Easy to use and once crushed the piston stops a ta set spot, then you retract it and put in another can...simple and efficient operation. Customer service by seller was outstanding. Only issue was with Amazon and getting the label for mailing in defective item, but a phone call finally got that label for me.As of the 15 minutes crushing a dozen cans, very well recommended.

I highly recommend this product it works perfectly. It's small enough to fit on my counter And makes crushing can so fast and easy. We have been using it for over 8 months. We did have a small problem with it, but I contacted customer service and they were professional courteous and just amazing. We got the issue fixed. And I am just loving it.

After reading the reviews I was skeptical. $100 is a lot of it didn’t work. It arrived on time perfectly packaged. I took it out of the box and plugged it in. That’s how easy it was to set up. I started crushing cans and it was easy to use. I crushed 3 garbage bags full and made them into one bag with no issues. To test how much I could actually crush I tried crushing a dog food can, it did crush it, but I don’t recommend it. I hope it lasts a long time with no issues.

I have a manual can crusher for big volumes of cans. I did look at the air-powered ones, but I don't have an air compressor, so that would also be an added expense. I finally landed on this bueaty and was quite intrigued. Very easy to use. One button makes it crush the can, the other one brings the metal plunger back to the top. It's very efficient at crushing the cans to an even flatter ratio than my manual crusher. The only beef I have is that the plunger should move faster when on its back tragectory. Besides that, itt's on my bar fridge and I crush cans as they come and this keeps mess at its minimum and makes things more manageable. So for occasional can crushes it's great, but don't show up with 500 cans and think it will go very fast. Oh and I wasn't kidding about watching your fingers. That thing packs a lot of pressure.

No idea what goes on with it, it worked fine untill it didn't. all the power seems to be going to 2 of the parts. I am not sure but is wasted 100.00 though

third time using the crusher, for only a few cans each time... 4th can in, it retracted and stopped working...seriously not worth the $111CD I paid for it...worked good the first two times I used it, but it is less than 2 months old and it pooped outone star
