Played around with this for a bit. Works pretty well but you have to feed in a can at a time. About 1 of every 5 cans will not crush properly and most of those have to be manually pulled out of the unit to unclog it.Using it to crush multiple cans is completely useless. It just makes it harder to feed cans and it screws up every three cans or so.

This product works well if you have a bunch of regular cans of the same size automatically. If you need to crush very large cans, or a variety of sizes, then you might be better off with a manual crusher. My biggest nitpick is it's 0.5" too short for tall cans (Liquid Death). Some enhancements it could use:* Slightly longer crushing track* Rubber feet so it doesn't slide off a counter* and/or a mounting bracket* Hooks to hang a plastic bag on it* An expandable queue area to queue up cans* Auto-off when no cans are left* A way of mixing different types of cans in the queueOverall, it does the bare minimum very well. It's solid and sturdy. I will be DIYing some easier fixes to it.

Once we got it together. It's a real wrist saver. We used to use a manual one. 3 position switch. Manual off automatic. We've had it for a while now. No problems at all

At first, it worked fine. It's a little slow, but that's not really an issue. That being said, it would be nice if it had an automatic turn-off mechanism; the chute holds 7 or 8 standard-sized cans, and it would be nice to hit "start" and walk away, trusting it to shut off on it's own. Unfortunately, it doesn't do that, so you have to stand there for a while twiddling your thumbs until it's done, and then shut it off manually. Not a big deal, but a bit tedious. That being said, sometimes it misfires -- a can gets stuck, and it grinds away for a while doing nothing. So you really do have to stand there and supervise it anyway. But my biggest complaint is that after a month, it stopped functioning properly. It might crush a can, maybe two. Then it thinks for a bit and clicks and thinks some more, the motor randomly spins one way or another for a fraction of a second; click, silence, whir. Sometimes if I randomly press buttons for a while, it resumes working, but not always (and I'm not sure which button finally made it resume function, or if it would have resumed regardless without my input). I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Eventually, it gets to the point where it's just easier to crush the cans by stomping on them.
