This table pad works well. The top is vinyl and has a slick surface. I was concerned that a tablecloth would slide off but the cloth held well on top of the pad. The backing is felted and worked to protect my table from warm dishes; I would recommend using a trivet for really hot dishes.I also appreciated how easy it was to cut the table pad to size and that it didn't have massive wrinkles, an issue noted in reviews for similar products online. It didn't have a chemical smell, again a complaint with other table pads. It folds up easily for storage too. This is a great item and should last a lifetime of use.

Great product to keep my wood parquet table safe at from liquid, light heat, and playing games. I would use a pot holder or trivet for anything extreme. It was easy to cut down to fit my tablecloth and used it the first time last night. Under the tablecloth you could not tell it was there but I knew it was protecting my table from heat, wet, and rolling dice. I highly recommend.

I have an expensive top quality pad cover for my table when the leaf is in and I love it. It protects my wood table because it's so sensitive to liquids, etc. This one I needed when I finally decided to take the leaf out to use as a round table. When it arrived and I saw the weight to this I knew it was quality! And it's not too thick to where it's interfering with the crystal wine glass stems or making the plates not sit flat. Nope, it's perfect!! I'm so impressed with it and so thrilled I read all the reviews to make my decision on this one. This is real peace of mind like insurance. I like the color and quality of the tablecloth. It isn’t wrinkle free but with a little pressing it looked great, especially for linen. It was also the perfect size for my dining room table. I think I might buy it in another color too.

I really liked the fact it fits my table and does not show under my tablecloth it is thick and protects my wood table. It came in two days I was thrilled with the quality and the speed that it came in. I was unsure of where I would buy this and sure enough Amazon had it.
