My Brother BQ950 does not have a presser foot height adjustment option, which makes it hard to find a ruler foot that works. By sliding this foot all the way to the highest possible place on the screw slot, it provides enough clearance for a fabric sandwich when the presser foot lever is lowered and the feed dogs are dropped. The needle position must be set at center, not at the default left position.Looks like I’m in business for learning how to do ruler work!

I love this product. It came on time. It took some getting used to. But once I gotten the hang of it. It makes my swirls are easy to do and the spacing between lines helps out a lot and where I need to make my next lines of swirls in my free motion quilting. Highly recommend this product

While the material is solid and well made, it is the exact same size and shape as the ruler foot for high-shank machines. The piece that attaches to the machine needs to be shorter. This hit my plate with absolutely no room to move a piece of paper freely, let alone a thin quilt. I threw away the packaging it arroved in before I could try it out, so I am unable to return.Here is a breakdown of ratings - IF it had worked properly, along with the low price point, I would have rated it 5 stars. Since it didn't work/doesn't fit, I knocked it down to 4 stars. I knocked it down again, to 3 stars, because it is the same as the high shank but labeled as low shank, therefore in my opinion, the description is inaccurate.

This is definitely NOT LOW SHANK! I have 5 Brother machines. It will not WORK with any of them. Yes, it fits, but it is so tight against the machine and the fabric - free motion is not possible! I would give zero stars if available, or negative numbers! My mistake for not reading all the bad reviews before purchasing from you.
