Handles are good. Needles supplied not the best quality, but for the price, I'd say good choice, especially for kids and beginners

On the smaller, 3-needle pen: Needles are very dull, and thin/flexible, so the have a hard time puncturing into a ball of wool. Rather than going into and combining strands, this just kind of pushes wool out of the way temporarily, and it bounces right back. Infinitely slower than just using a (good) single needle. The larger tool has sharper, thicker needles, and will actually go into a ball of wool. I think the barbs are either less pronounced or just incorrectly shaped though, because this still won't really compact or attach anything. Once more, a good, single needle works way better than this. Additionally, the plastic guard is not very good. Sometimes gets stuck open or shut, and is hard to get back to the other position.Don't buy these; they're useless.

These work pretty well, I did not end up liking the guard on the multiple needle tool

I got this as extra ways to use needles and to protect my fingers which are sore from stabbing myself too many times, lol. It gives you comfortable use and the ability to work easier and less painful lol. It's a must have for beginners in my opinion, and I'm loving learning how to needle felting and got one made although he's a little odd looking but for my first time I can't complain lol. I would recommend these for anyone who does needle felting!!

They worked fine, but the smaller one broke halfway through my repair project. All three needles broke right off. I may look for a more professional, more expensive set.

I suggest buying name brand. These were junk and needles break. Plastic edges prevent larger of 2 too be used. The lid doesn't stay on the 3 needle pen and painful on the fingers. Waste of money

I am a huge fan of the Clover needle felting tools, but I thought I’d try something a bit more cost efficient just to see how they match up. So far, I’m really happy with the purchase, and it never hurts to have back-ups, right? If you’re serious about your felting - but the Clover products, but if you need a good back-up, like me, or, if you’re just starting out, you will be bery happy with this purchase! I would definitely buy them again.
